Root was a bistro-styled restaurant that abandoned their project with me in mid-conception. However, I'm always game to complete a visual branding experience that has potential.

The restaurant's identity called for an organic approach via pencil and ink. After conceptualizing the logotype by hand, I used a condensed serif font to package the whole idea together.
